First Pitch Opportunity

Sal’s Pizza, the official pizza of the Boston Red Sox and Lawrence Public Schools, is looking for a deserving student to throw out the first pitch before the Boston Red Sox play the Toronto Blue Jays on June 26th.
 

A parent, guardian or teacher can nominate a Lawrence Public School student in grades 3-6 who has demonstrated leadership within their school, community, or within their own family.

​

The nomination should highlight teamwork, inclusion, and giving back to the community or family in any way they can. One lucky, talented and ambitious winning student will be announced on Sal’s website and on Sal’s Facebook and Instagram at 12pm on

June 18, 2024 and awarded the following Grand Prize:

  • 4 premium seats to the Toronto Blue Jays v. Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 

  • The opportunity to throw out the ceremonial First Pitch before the game 

  • Transportation to and from Fenway Park via car service from home in Boston 

Eligibility

  • Be nominated by a parent, guardian or teacher

  • Be in grades 3-6 for the 2023-2024 school year, and currently enrolled in the Lawrence Public School System

  • Demonstrate leadership within their school, community, or within their own family 

  • Demonstrate proven academic potential

  • Be able to attend the Boston Red Sox game on June 26th with a parent or guardian over 18 years old
