SAL'S STORY

SalsGrandparents.jpg

It all began with

AN OLD FAMILY RECIPE

Over 74 years ago, Sal Lupoli's grandparents came to America and all they had when they arrived was a strong work ethic and an old family recipe for Sicilian-style pizza. It wasn’t long before their Revere Beach pizza stand earned a reputation for flavor, freshness and very generous portions. Sal’s heritage and strong family history led him to work in the Italian kitchens of Boston’s North End where he perfected his craft.

FAMILY-OWNED
AND OPERATED

In 1990, Salvatore Lupoli opened his first Sal’s Pizza shop with his brother Nick, in Salem, New Hampshire. Inspired by Boston’s North End eateries, the Lupoli brothers used fresh ingredients, prepared their dough daily, and established a reputation for the best quality. Originally, Sal's was known as Just Pizza, since they focused on what they did best. The largest pizza at the lowest price—their 19-inch, three-pound pizza, quickly became a legend and is the cornerstone of every Sal’s Pizza today!

Only the finest and freshest

 INGREDIENTS

We source the finest ingredients and prepare them by hand. In every Sal’s Pizza, we chop locally-grown vegetables and garlic, grate 100% mozzarella cheese right off the block and hand-stretch our homemade dough each and every day. Made with tomatoes picked right off the vine in Northern California, our signature sauce arrives fresh-packed without additives or preservatives. Everything from olive oil to your favorite toppings are the highest quality because we know that great tasting food is made from great ingredients.

FOOD TRUCKS
Sal Knows Pizza.jpg

In early 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Sal Lupoli knew it was the right time to launch the new fleet of food trucks he had been working on behind-the-scenes. More than ever, people wanted to be outside. Ordering from Sal's Mobile made it easy with their contactless ordering and delivery.  With a food truck, Sal is able to bring his high-quality pizza to towns where he may not have an actual pizza “store”. And unlike most food trucks, Sal’s Mobile offers delivery! The pizza trucks have flourished and you can now find them all over New England in selective towns, as well as at hundreds of private events every month from Maine to Cape Cod.
