The Sal’s Employee Scholarship supports our team members as they pursue their educational and career goals. Each year, one dedicated employee is awarded a $1,000 scholarship to help cover tuition, books, or vocational training. We’re proud to invest in the growth of the people who make Sal’s what it is.

ELIGIBILITY

Current Sal’s Pizza employees who are pursuing further education or training.

Must have worked at Sal’s for at least 6 months to 1 year.

Open to both part-time and full-time employees.

Who Qualifies? Employees pursuing college, community college, culinary school, or trade school.

One $1,000 scholarship awarded annually (with the goal to expand as the program grows).

Funds may be used for tuition, books, or vocational training costs.

Short essay (250–500 words) responding to one of the following prompts:

“What does community mean to you, and how has Sal’s shaped your journey?”

“How will this scholarship help you achieve your goals?”

Letter of recommendation from a store manager, teacher, coach or mentor.

Academic transcript or proof of enrollment (unofficial copies accepted).

Recipients will be chosen by a selection committee including Sal’s family leadership and community partners.

Criteria include commitment to personal growth, positive impact on community, and alignment with Sal’s values of authenticity, opportunity, and community.

The Winner will be announced at the annual Holiday Party on December 8th, 2025 and featured on Sal’s internal bulletin boards, and social media.
